Each of us have personal maps for our everyday lives: the roads we travel to our workplace, our favorite hangouts and family destinations. In this exhibition, which opened last Saturday at the Dia.lo.gue artspace, 12 artists and designers have re-imagined the places they visit every day to show Jakarta in a way you’ve never seen it before.

Since 1996, Argentine artist Diego Menendez has made frequent trips to Indonesia, where he has always felt inspired by the bright, tropical surroundings. Indonesians now have the chance to see their country though his eyes, in an exhibition at the Duta Fine Arts Foundation in Kemang, South Jakarta.
