Jakarta’s traditional fishermen are some of the poorest people living in the capital, and after decades of unchecked pollution, rampant overfishing and inadequate
infrastructure their ability to earn a living has gotten a lot harder. Muhammad Taher is one of the estimated 7,000 traditional fishermen living in slums stationed around Jakarta Bay. His community has found another way to earn a living.

But the results may be dangerous.
