Ari Lasso to Play Solo Show To Celebrate 40th Birthday

Ari Lasso, one of Indonesia’s most popular singers and former frontman of rock band Dewa 19, says that he plans to perform in a solo concert at the Jakarta Convention Center on Feb. 23, 2013.

The concert will be a celebration of his 40th birthday, which falls on Jan. 17.

The show will give Ari a way to mark another milestone: 20 years in the notoriously-fickle music industry.

“The concept still remains a secret, but I can tell you now that it’s going to be phenomenal,” he said. “And there will also be a Dewa 19 reunion.”
