Indonesia Issues Two More Mineral-Ore Export Permits, Saleh Says
Indonesia issued two more mineral-ore export permits to companies, bringing the total to 31 out 68 registered exporters, Deddy Saleh, director general of foreign trade at the Trade Ministry, said in Jakarta today.
That compares with 29 companies with permits and 61 registered exporters on July 6.
“There are three proposals still in process,” Saleh said, without giving details on company names.
The government requires mining companies to obtain export permits for ore shipmets under a new regulation effective May.
