John Kei to Leave Hospital And Return to Detainment

Gang leader John Kei will be back in a jail cell later this week after receiving treatment for swelling in his leg.

Tofik Chandra, John’s lawyer, said the police hospital in East Jakarta gave him the all-clear on Monday and his paperwork for release would be ready on Wednesday.

John was hospitalized after developing a complication in his right leg, where he was shot by police during his arrest in February for alleged murder.
