Denpasar. Customers who purchase non-subsidized fuel will now be able to enjoy a special “Red Carpet” service at 11 Pertamina gas stations on the island of Bali as the government continues to try and wean consumers off of subsidized fuel.
“This ‘Red Carpet Service’ is a plus for consumers who want to use a non-subsidized fuel,” General Manager of Retail Fuel Marketing Region V Pertamina, Affandi, said in Denpasar on Friday.
He said the “Red Carpet” service provides a special queue separate from customers purchasing subsidized fuel, so that consumers who purchase non-subsidized fuel will have faster and more exclusive service.
“We also provide tires and tire pressure checking service, as a form of our appreciation and concern for the safety, comfort, and exclusivity of BBK (non-subsidized fuel) customers,” continued Febrian, Area Sales Manager Pertamina Bali.
The “Red Carpet” Service was launched at 11 gas stations across Denpasar and in Badung, Gianyar, Tabanan, and Jembrana.
In addition to those areas, services for non-subsidized fuel consumers can also be found at 10 stations in West Nusa Tenggara.
“We will continue to create successful programs to control the government program of subsidized fuel,” Affandi said.
