Bogor. Bogor police arrested the third suspected murderer of two Bogor Agriculture Institute (IPB) security guards on Sunday, according to a police spokesman.
“We arrested the perpetrator on Sunday afternoon in Melinting, Lampung Timur district,” said Adj. Comr. Imron Ermawan, the Bogor district police chief of detectives, on Monday.
The alleged murderer, Unyil (who was also using the aliases Oon and Marcel) was arrested at his home.
Police had earlier arrested two other suspects with the initials MH and AS in their houses in Cibatu, Sukabumi, West Java.
Last month, the trio were allegedly trying to steal a motorcycle from a mosque parking lot at the IPB when the two security guards, Suhardi, 46, and Supriatna, 40, caught them in the act. The perpetrators fired four shots at both of the security guards before fleeing, killing them.
Police added that they have long been seeking the suspects now in custody for several motorcycles thefts in West Java and Jakarta.
