Valentine’s Day for Singles: Just Add Awesomeness
Kirana Dewayani
Valentine’s Day is only less than a week away. With boxes of chocolates, red roses and a splash of pink and red in almost every shopping center in town, enthusiasm for Valentine’s day is absolutely infectious, and spreading all over.
Many lovebirds are no doubt planning to have a nice romantic dinner for two, but guess what? Candle-lit dinners on Valentine’s Day are just too mainstream. Many youngsters believe that being alone on Valentine’s Day can be a gloomy, lonely time. But let’s turn the tables and beat the odds — it’s time for the singles to take the pleasure of Valentine’s Day with a spark of awesomeness!
The first thing to do is plan how you’ll spend the day. This is a chance to scream and shout to the whole world, “I’m busting out of my comfort zone, and having a blast rocking Valentine’s Day!”
No one should be alone on Valentine’s Day, and being single is not an excuse. After all, it’s the day the world spreads so much love. So rather than going out with your gang just to criticize couples, what you should do is organize a party of your own, and be amazing!
Invite every one you like and party it up all night! Stop being a couch potato every Valentine’s Day and start socializing. Perhaps Cupid’s arrow will be aimed at you on the very night of your awesomeness.
What you should do is this: Point to random names on your contact list and invite them over for the night’s party. Unsatisfied with the guest list? List the names of the people you want to see for the night and just have fun. Do the party your own way. It doesn’t have to be neat, it just has to be surprisingly awesome.
Make the party unpredictable, memorable and enjoyable. Dress up like you never have before, and just be stunning for the night. Vibe up your awesomeness and let the party people know there’s nothing wrong with being single on Valentine’s Day. It’s simply awesome.
Although a party sounds like a brilliant idea, some of you may not like the idea of partying, let alone hosting one. Then you can simply spend your day by having a cup of coffee at any café nearby, Bring your camera and hunt for photos. I bet there will be so many unexpected events, happy moments and lots of love shown on Valentine’s Day, and those simple things will make the best pictures.
Going alone might seem ironic on Valentine’s Day, but you can always find a friend available to provide some companionship.
Next, since you are already with a friend, try to do something out of the red line with them. For instance, you can pretend like you are dating and try to fool people. Make your other friends curious about what exactly is going on and just laugh at them. It’s like making an early April Fool’s Day in the most romantic way.
Plus, Valentine’s Day opens all chances of relationship possibilities. And maybe by the end of the day, you won’t be one of the singles who’s reading this. Awesome!
After a tiring day of photo hunting and joking around, it would be a great idea to relax and treat your friend and yourself to some spa time. Whether you’re a he or a she, a spa and massage treatment is always a good way to relax, think of nothing and enjoy yourself. Since Valentine’s Day is about loving, and you have showed love to others all these years, you have every right to please yourself and love yourself.
Look at spa time as a chance to feel like a king or queen for a moment of your busy life. Taking a deep breath of satisfaction after a long run of hard work would feel absolutely amazing.
So it is fixed, you are going to nail it on Valentine’s Day! Whatever it is you plan, just make sure that it’s 110 percent extraordinary and awesome. Make it simple, but out of the box and satisfying for every single person. Lovebirds don’t mean everything on Valentine’s Day. The singles also have the right to have fun, feel loved, relax and enjoy Valentine’s Day … with awesomeness!
