Lucy Liu Set to Make Her Broadway Debut
Lucy Liu will make her Broadway debut in “God of Carnage,” joining the Tony-winning comedy on March 2 along with Dylan Baker, Janet McTeer and Jeff Daniels.
Producers Robert Fox and Stuart Thompson said on Wednesday that Daniels, who had been in the play’s original Broadway cast, would return to play a different role, the part originated by James Gandolfini. The play’s current cast — Jimmy Smits, Annie Potts, Christine Lahti and Ken Stott — will have its last performance on Feb. 28.
“God of Carnage” is centered around the clash between two liberal, middle-class couples whose children get into a fight.
