Exports of palm oil from Indonesia, the world’s largest producer, fell 31 percent in March from a month earlier to 753,228 metric tons, data from the nation’s palm oil association showed today.

Shipments fell because of low demand and as Brazil was harvesting soybean, Fadhil Hasan, executive director at the association said in an interview in Jakarta today. Soybean and palm oil are used for cooking oil.
