During a recent trip to Berlin, I realized how many things I missed about my home country. Being close to my family and friends is the obvious one, but I also miss German bread for breakfast and doner kebab — the one you can find in Berlin — as hangover food, German punctuality and Berlin’s well-functioning metro system.
