483437no subtulty here,an 800million pricetag converts to 700 billion.
Can anyone give me the true % markup here? I suspect his 'handling' fee might be even over the odds even for this obviously wealthy country of ours.
And is a fine of 500 million true justice in this particular case?

Prosecutors are seeking a seven-year prison sentence for Eddie Widiono, the former head of state power company Perusahaan Listrik Negara, for alleged price-fixing and corruption in a Rp 700 billion ($78 million) database project.
Muhibuddin, the lead prosecutor at Eddie’s trial, told the Anti-Corruption Court on Wednesday that the defendant had engaged in corruption in pushing through the project to set up a customer information database for PLN’s Jakarta office and appointing a contractor, Netway Utama, to provide equipment and services.
Prosecutors are also seeking a Rp 500 million fine.
Witnesses earlier testified that Eddie insisted on going ahead with the project despite misgivings from the PLN board.
The witnesses said the project was overpriced, given a similar database at PLN’s Bandung office cost just Rp 800 million to set up.
