The Philippines may sell 10-year debt to Japanese investors at a yield of 0.8 to 1.1 percentage points more than the yen swap rate, according to a person with knowledge of the deal.
The interest-rate swap of the same maturity was 1.41 percent in Tokyo, indicating the Philippines may be able to sell the notes cheaper than Indonesia’s offering of yen-denominated notes in July.
