371611It's completely embarrassing how the PSSI officials are involved in soccer at all. They think that they can overrule FIFA. Soon Indonesia will be suspended by FIFA entirely and that will be the best thing that ever happened to local football. Why? Because finally, the entire PSSI mafia will be sacked and they can start over with non-corrupted and educated people in the proper positions. Show one person qualified in the current PSSI to actually work in the game of football. Just one? There is not one person at the moment in that entire organization with any type of education or quaficiation to actually produce anything for this country. None!

Despite meeting for four hours on Monday, the Indonesian Football Association and league administrator PT Liga Indonesia did not reach a conclusion on the Persikabo Bogor case.
“We still have to examine all the facts concerning the case. We’ll reconvene [today],” PTLI chief executive Joko Driyono said after the meeting at the association’s (PSSI) offices in Jakarta.
Also attending the meeting were PSSI deputy secretary general on international relations Dali Taher and all members of the disciplinary and legal committees.
Joko said a decision must be reached this week as the matter is delaying the start of the Premier Division playoffs. Matches were set to start on Wednesday, but the case forced the PTLI to wait until the Indonesian Cup second group stage ends on May 18.
The problem started when PSSI chairman Nurdin Halid overturned FIFA’s decision to deduct three points from Persikabo. FIFA’s sanctions came after Persikabo terminated the contract of Noah Bakena without explanation or compensation in 2008.
Players’ associations from Indonesia, Australia and world body FIFPro helped secure the release of Bakena, who overstayed his visa while fighting for compensation and was detained for two months. He took his complaint to FIFA, which ordered Persikabo to pay the remainder of his contract by Feb. 11, 2010.
It failed to do so, and the FIFA Disciplinary Committee ordered the points deduction and a 6,000 Swiss franc fine. However, the PSSI announced on April 4 it had decided in an executive committee meeting to overturn the deduction, claiming the club had paid Bakena and the fine.
That moved Persikabo past PS Mojokerto Putra and into the playoffs. PSMP then complained to FIFA, which told the PSSI the points penalty “cannot subsequently be withdrawn.”
Indonesian Professional Players’ Associaton president Vennard Hutabarat urged PSSI to uphold FIFA’s ruling.
“If clubs always get away with mistreating their players, Indonesia will always lag behind other countries,” he said. “Clubs have to respect their players’ contracts.”
