Good idea. Should happen automatically. Of course it won't because of their connections. They have even got the Presidents children praying for their wellbeing.

Anyway, have to remember that these lowlifes are all very wealthy, well connected criminals, and false passports are easily within their reach, as are new citizenships.

Golkar lawmaker Bambang Soesatyo said on Sunday that the government should revoke the passports of all Indonesian fugitives.

“It should have been done to all those on the wanted list,” Bambang told Antara, “including all the people who are alleged to have escaped to another country and not only to Nunun Nurbaeti.”

Nunun, the wife of Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) lawmaker Adang Daradjatun, has been identified in court as being involved in the distribution of Rp 24 billion ($2.8 million) in traveler’s checks to secure lawmakers’ votes for economist Miranda Goeltom’s appointment as Bank Indonesia senior deputy governor in 2004.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) recently named Nunun a suspect in the case, and her passport was subsequently revoked on May 26.

“It is compulsory for the government to revoke the passports of fugitives, such as Anggoro Widjoyo,” Bambang said.

“I am urging the National Police, the Attorney General's Office, the Justice and Human Rights Minister, as well as, the Finance Ministry to publicly announce the most recent list of fugitives or those who have been restricted from traveling overseas,” he said.

Meanwhile, Busyro Muqoddas, KPK Chairman, said the KPK has not set a deadline on Nunun's arrest.
