One more that does not have any dignity left... no moral... no shame! Just power and money. But that seems to be the norm and not the exception. Poor Indonesia.
Angela probably believes that if Arifinto (PKS) is still on the payroll after he was caught with his hand in the (pornographic) cookie jar, why should she not remain on the payroll, when she is still a suspect at this point. In all likelihood she will make a fine addition to the Religious Commission. Who said the Democratic Party doesn't have a highly developed understanding of irony at its best?
Despite being named a suspect in major corruption scandal rocking the ruling Democratic Party, controversial legislator Angelina Sondakh continued to thumb her nose at the public on Thursday.
Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) chairman Abraham Samad on Wednesday threatened to boycott hearings with the House of Representative Commission III for legal affairs if the former beauty queen was present.
Responding to the comments and condemnation from rival political parties, the Democrats promised on Wednesday to transfer Angelina to another commission.
This also immediately criticized by anticorruption activists, however, who said the Democrats — headed by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono — were out of touch with the public’s sense of justice.
They demanded the corruption suspect be removed from the House entirely.
The Democrats, however, confirmed on Thursday that Angelina had been transferred — to the House commission for religious affairs.
