How can the authorities allow a group called 'The People Movement to Hang Adulterers' to gain a permit to demonstrate? Surely they have otherwise pak polisi would be arresting them for public order offences, incitement to violence (to closet clerics - killing is violence by the way and against our law)

Jakarta. Peterpan frontman Nazriel 'Ariel' Irham attended the fifth court hearing of the sex video case at the Bandung District Court on Thursday.
Ariel has been in detention since June for allegedly filming sex videos, one featuring him and Luna Maya and another in which he appears with Cut Tari.
Speaking to the press before the hearing started, Ariel said he felt that he had been treated unfairly because the person who spread the videos was not detained.
“I'm still curious why he is not detained. I feel this is unfair because I have been detained for six months,” Ariel was quoted as saying by Metro TV.
A number of witnesses gave their testimonies in today's hearing, among them were Ariel's band mates, Uki, Reza and Loekman.
The three musicians told the court that the man in the sex videos is not Ariel.
“They said the man only resembled Ariel,” Ariel's lawyer Afrian Bondjol said.
The singer's former wife, Sarah Amalia and current girlfriend, Luna Maya, were scheduled to take the witness stand but they did not show up.
Ariel faces charges under the 2008 Anti-Pornography Law, the 2008 Information and Electronic Transaction Law (ITE) and Article 56 of the Criminal Code for “participating in a crime.”
Meanwhile, outside the court around 100 people from a group called 'Gergaji,' an acronym for 'the people movement to hang adulterers,' held a rally. They demanded the court to give harsh punishment for the celebrities featured in the sex videos.
“If Ariel and the sleazy trio are freed, we will stone them to death and hang them,” the rally leader said.
