319344We salute the family of Garth McEvoy!!!!!
No one else knows better how it feels to lose a family member than those who lost their loved ones.
No one else can know the feeling of sleepness nights and trauma than those who were injured by these hideous acts.
For the family of Garth McEvoy to express their feelings in this manner shows that there are still many more good people who love Indonesia.
Let us not fail them.

The family of an Australian man killed in Friday’s bomb attacks in Jakarta said they hold no ill feeling towards Indonesia after the incident.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Trent McEvoy, the brother of victim Garth McEvoy, said their family was ‘devastated’ by the event.
“We thank all those who have expressed their sympathies and their regards for Garth. Garth was and always will be remembered as a true mate,” the statement said.
“Our thoughts go out to all of the families and friends affected by this terrible tragedy. No one should have to go through this. Garth enjoyed his life in Indonesia and our family holds no ill feeling towards Indonesia or its people.
“Garth wouldn’t have wanted people to stop working in Indonesia or for Australians to think the worst of Indonesians because of a senseless act by a small minority. He would have wanted everyone to continue working with the wonderful people in Indonesia.”
Garth McEvoy, 54, was an executive with mining and construction company Thiess and was having breakfast at the JW Marriott Hotel when the suicide bomber struck.
His family also extended thanks to the Australian Embassy, the Australian Federal Police and the Indonesian authorities, as well as Garth’s employer.
A private funeral would be held in Australia next week, the statement said.
