The News Media that received the coffins usually sharply and justifiably criticize the government as well as powerful officials. Methinks these Media not only struck one raw nerve, but a whole bunch of them!Hence the macabre presents. Way to go guys, keep on drilling!

A number of media organizations in Jakarta woke up Monday to an eerie present: coffins delivered to their newsrooms.

It is not clear who ordered the macabre deliveries or why but the coffins were received by RCTI television,  ANTV television, Tempo and the Jakarta Post.

Wicaksono, a senior journalist from Tempointeraktif.com, confirmed that a coffin was sent to his office by an ambulance.

Uni Lubis, ANTV's chief news editor, confirmed on her official Twitter account that a one-meter long casket was addressed to her at the station’s office.

She wrote that the address of the sender was given as “Unit 166, Jl. Asia Afrika, Pintu X Senayan, Jakarta 10270.” The message “restinpeacesoon.com”  was written on the coffin.

The apparent URL goes to a Web site that says it is “under construction,”  leading to speculation that the coffins may be part of a publicity stunt of some kind.

Tempointeraktif's Wicaksono said he was informed by the security guard in his office that the coffin was addressed to him by name, and that the ambulance driver only came to deliver the coffin and left without giving an explanation.

Arief Suditomo, RCTI's chief editor, also confirmed that his office received a coffin delivered by a hearse. He said that he did not talked to the hearse driver and that the police were on their way to the station’s office to investigate.
