does this mean the police are going to inspect the bus owners? and whichever govt department was responsible for certifying the bus?

did the driver have a licence? or did the driver run off?

is this going to be on tv with talking heads screaming for the death penalty?

is the bus owner going to 'offer' to apologize to the victims' families?

The state of this vehicle was almost certainly unsafe - just like the hundreds of thousands of others nationwide - the drivers are often crazed and drive like maniacs - we get countless annual deaths (tens of thousands possibly) and no bugger says a thing - yet some one challenges the existence of god via FB and the Islamic nutjobs are mobilised en masse

Where the hell are your priorities ???

A horrific collision between a packed bus and a truck on a winding, mountainous road left 12 dead and 22 injured in Sumedang, West Java, on Wednesday, police said.

The Maju Jaya bus, en route to Karawang after stops in Tasikmalaya and Subang, collided with the truck's rear end at high speed, knocking the bus off the road and into a ravine, according to Sumedang’s police chief.

“At the scene there’s no signs of skidmarks [indicating braking], so there’s a possibility the bus’s brakes were not functioning,” Adj. Cmr. Arman Achdiat, said on Thursday.

Police were still investigating the scene of the crash. The driver of the bus is at Sumedang Hospital being treated for serious injuries.

“We don’t know yet if the bus was overloaded with passengers or not,” Arman said.

The accident was the first for the Maju Jaya transport company, he added.
