Banyuwangi, Indonesia. A junior high school student in Banyuwangi, East Java, has reported her teacher to the police after the teacher allegedly pinched her breasts.
DA, 14, lodged a report with Glagah Police in Banyuwangi alleging what her teacher, SG, did to her on Saturday in the classroom.
The science class was over and the students should have had their recess but SG kept on teaching.
From outside the window, a student from another class was calling to DA's desk mate but she did not hear the call. DA tried to tell her desk mate by gesturing to her to look outside.
According to the student, SG came over to her and pinched her breasts. The pinch, according to DA, lasted for around two minutes.
She said that she cried from the embarrassment and the pain from the pinch.
Her family learned about the incident when she came home crying. On Tuesday, her family decided to report the teacher to the police.
“Prior to lodging a police report, I consulted my family and my relatives,” DA's mother told news portal Detik.com.
Police reacted by summoning DA's classmates as witnesses.
“We have questioned her classmates and we will summon the teacher in the near future,” Glagah Police Chief Adj. Comr. Jupriyadi said.
