President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has strongly condemned Friday’s terrorist bombing of a mosque at Cirebon Police headquarters.

Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto said Yudhoyono had ordered National Police, the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) and the National Anti-Terrorism Agency (BNPT) to find out who was responsible for the attack.

Yudhoyono also called on the society as a whole to work together to eradicate terrorism, Djoko said.

He also asked members of the public to come forward with information about any suspicious activities and urged security officials to increase their awareness.

Djoko said it was too early to speculate about who was behind the attack.
