By the way I heard some PDI-P honchos have already placed bookings!

Lamborghini’s proposed new hybrid sports car takes its name from an
Indonesian island, and its online photo spreads have been delighting
luxury car fans the world over.
The Lamborghini Madura may become the high-end Italian automaker’s first venture into gas-electric hybrids.
“The
Madura is a proposal for the first hybrid Lamborghini scheduled for
2016. Making a car more efficient and more nature-friendly doesn’t mean
it shouldn’t be good-looking and fast,” designer Slavche Tanevsky told
the Web site Worldcarfans.com.
The site raves about the
Lamborghini Madura’s slim headlights (to emphasize the cars’ width),
huge air intakes and sexy, curvaceous hood.
The front-mounted hybrid powertrain allowed Tanevsky to shorten the car’s rear, detailing it with a maze of intricate lines.
Tanevsky
is a student at the Munich University of Applied Sciences. He worked
with designers from Lamborghini and Audi as part of the automaker’s Raw
Materials Project.
The name is a reference to the island’s famous bull races. Lamborghini has a tradition of choosing names associated with bulls.
