317955Peter, please don't be provocative in your postings. It'll just incite more ill feelings. It's not necessary you know.
Chinese have not forgotten the blood shed to Chinese ethic groups living in Indonesia in the 80's. If anything like that happen again, do not expect the usual quite diplomacy.

Members of the hard-line group Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia rallied in front of the Chinese Embassy in Mega Kuningan, South Jakarta on Tuesday morning to demand the Chinese government stop oppressing Muslim Uighurs in the Chinese province of Xinjiang.
The rally started at 9 a.m. and was to last until noon. Hizbut Tahris spokesman Mohammad Ismail Yusanto said 500 people were taking part.
On Monday several hard-line Muslim groups became involved in scuffles with security guards as they staged a rally at the same location.
Over the weekend, number of Muslim organizations and politicians called on President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to lodge an official protest with the Chinese government for prohibiting Uighurs in Xinjiang from performing Friday prayers.
Uighurs in Xinjiang have openly rebelled in recent days, claiming religious and cultural discrimination by the Han Chinese majority.
