380820Exactly that's what I imagined...."a Cheech and Chong moment"....hahaha...overweight law enforcement officers full of LUV & PEACE! (all of course in "in harmonic cooperation with the head of National Narcotics Agency, Governor, Police Chief and a number of regional government officials...")
Peace - Out!

Man...I'm visualizing a Cheech and Chong moment hahaha...
Just good that nobody was standing to close to the fire which destroyed the 1.1 tons of Marijuana (assuming they burned it!) and inhaled the fumes, otherwise the birthday celebration might have ended up in "interesting" activities! The question remains - how was the alcohol "destroyed" during the glorious festivities?

Kupang. The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Police destroyed 1.1 tons of marijuana and 10,000 liters of illegal alcohol on Wednesday.
The destruction of the marijuana and alcohol, including 2,000 liters of locally made “sopi,” was done in cooperation with the head of National Narcotics Agency (BNN), Gori Mere, NTT Governor Frans Lebu Raya, NTT Police Chief Yorry Yance Worang and a number of regional government officials.
The ceremony was held to mark the police’s 64th anniversary and Anti-Narcotics
The illicit materials, which were destroyed as part of the activities held to commemorate the 64th Police anniversary and the National Anti-Narcotics Day, were confiscated by police during a number of police operations in the province.

I believe it's a bad deed of some persons which doesn't represent the whole society. The same case in Indonesia. Torturing animal is a sin .
