Have you heard of this word....."harus store?" It goes down the rank and file like a pyramid. The highest ranking taps it from his junior and it goes down the line. So, the lowest ranking has to outsource sufficient to "store" a specified amount with his upper ranking and it goes all the way up to the top. Thus, can you imagine the mechanism?

I have seen ever so often, the "premans" stopping the mini buses and stretching their hands for "collection." Now, where does all the money go to? Who's providing these guys the protection for performing these illegal acts? Then, there's the parking cowboys etc., etc., It goes on and on.

Just about a couple of month's ago, I was proceeding into a vacant parking lot but was hindered by the driver of an expensive SUV who was taking something from the back seat (rear door opened wide) for his "boss." He took his bloody time and obviously it made me upset and I blast the car horn. Guess what happened? The "boss" popped out her head and told me ......."sabah, pak!" This particular "boss" I recognised as a member of parliament and an ex TV personality.

Ultimately, here in this country, it is who you are and what powers you have backing you. Q.E.D.
