Be careful: 8-year-olds can fabricate stories; they may not like him for other reasons. Assume that he's innocent until proven otherwise.

Dear godmachine

I agree with your point BUT

I think the problem is so much morality is pushed upon us by Islam and to a lesser extent Christianity in Indonesia that as soon as the word is used it creates an instant religious connection.

In fact as I am sure you know there are innocent men and probably women in Indonesian jails and some have been murdered because they offended Islamic morality

Whilst morality is governed and forced using strict often violent means the connection is valid - even if it is inaccurate

An Indonesian teacher in South Sulawesi has been arrested for allegedly forcing at least six of his students, all aged just eight years of age, to perform oral sex on him, police in South Sulawesi alleged on Thursday.

Luwu Timur Police Chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Andi Firman told Okezone.com that the accused, identified as Gun, 28, a physical education teacher, was almost mobbed by locals after the six victims, all girls aged eight years, alleged they had been forced to commit lewd sexual acts.

Andi said Gun lured each of his victims with candy after exercise classes, before blindfolding the child and forcing her to perform oral sex.

The sex crimes, which began in July, were finally revealed after one of the victims told her parents.

“My child told me that some of her friends were also forced to perform oral sex,” one of the victims’ parents told the news portal.

“We demand that he is given a harsh punishment because what he did was immoral,” another parent said.

Gun was charged with Article 82 of the Child Protection Law.

“He could be jailed for 15 years and fined Rp 300 million [$33,430],” Andi said.
