Again, I'll reiterate, if this is the way this country thinks and the direction it is taking, then it is doomed.

Is that what Indonesia needs? A party founded by a convicted killer? (for masterminding the killing of a SUPREME COURT judge).

Is there NO shame left??? It is just unbelievable... what will the world think of us?

Buddy Hartono:

..."He's also the perfect choice to stand for president.”...

Buddy Hartono certainly won't be accused of being objective in this matter that's for certain. Shades of a certain North Korean mentality at work here I sense.

“He is Suharto’s ideological heir,” he said.

Heh, ain't that the truth.

The new-look National Republic Party said on Tuesday that it would base its platform on the policies and programs espoused by former President Suharto, who was ousted by popular dissent in 1998.

Buddy Hartono, the secretary general of the party known as Nasrep, said that Suharto’s youngest son, Hutomo “Tommy” Mandala Putra, was the ideal figurehead for the party.

“He is Suharto’s ideological heir,” he said. “He’s also the perfect choice to stand for president.”

Buddy added that Nasrep expected to do well in the 2014 polls in parts of the country that were previously Suharto strongholds.
