If you say the wealth is possessed by people from minority religion, it's not true. How about most corruptors and those who earn money honestly from the majority religion? There are lots of wealty people who are moslems. To compare with, a lot of people who are christians are living in poverty in provinces such as papua, ntt and maluku. It's greed, laziness, corrupt attitude that make those people live in poverty.

And you wonder why there is so much resentment toward Muslims in the West...so much for tolerance

wongndeso you really are a stupid prat. Why don't you go to the story "Famine to Engulf All of Southern Somalia" and comment about that. Twenty nine thousand children dead in the last three months. The UN has had to appeal for more help from Arab [Muslim] nations because most aid at the moment is coming from western, non Muslim countries As is very usual when it comes to aid, very little comes from Muslim countries. The main killer in Somalia is starvation and disease, aggravated, some would say caused, by Islamic extremists. Islamic extremists with exactly the same evil mindset as the church burners in Riau, the murderers of members of a minority Muslim sect here in Indonesia, the demonstrators against Greenpeace Indonesia, and ignorant bigots like you.

There is an awful lot of death and destruction going on in this World right now that is caused directly by corrupted and hateful Islam. There are an awful lot of evil humans who use the veil of Islam to promote their own evil agendas and twisted ideals, and frankly the World would be a far better place if they were not in it. Sadly there are also a lot of idiots like you who spit bile and talk rubbish about stuff you know nothing about.

Two homes used as churches were burned to the ground in Riau on Tuesday night, a report said.

The incidents are the latest in a series of attacks on minority religious groups in Indonesia that have prompted international condemnation, including from the United States and European Union.

The homes were being used as unlicensed houses of worship in Kuansing regency, VIVAnews reported.

The first was in Pasarbaru in the district of Pangean and the second in the village of Logas in the district of the same name.

A Kuansing Police representative attempted to downplay the incident, saying the homes were “only made of board” and not real churches.

Pangean Police Chief Adjutant Cmr. Nazarudin was quoted by the news portal as saying that the houses were "easily burned because they were made of planks, thus flammable."

He said police were investigating the attacks and called on all residents to maintain security.

Christian Solidarity Worldwide recently said the lenient sentences handed down to 12 people convicted in the attacks that left three members of the minority Ahmadiyah community in Banten gave religious extremists a green light to continue their hatred.
