Former National Police chief detective Comr. Gen. Susno Duadji arrived at National Police headquarters in full uniform to face questioning by his fellow officers. But the police he accuses of corruption should have been summoned instead, he insisted.
“I have no idea why they summoned me. If it's about case brokers, why
am I the only one whom they summoned? They should
have invited the media as well and the people whose names I mentioned,” Susno told detik.com.
Susno has alleged that high-level officers took bribes to drop a case. The disgraced detective, who was implicated in an apparent effort to frame two anticorruption officials last year, will face National Police investigators with lawyer Henry Yosodiningrat by his side.
The Jakarta Police Traffic Management Center reports that at least one demonstration will take place in front of National Police Headquarters on Jalan Trunojoyo, South Jakarta at 2 pm, possibly causing traffic delays.
