This guy made a big mistake, he is to young and the girl is too old. It also helps if you are a rich Muslim who runs a handy-crafts export business and an Islamic school for kids.

Jakarta. A thirteen-year-old Indonesian girl who ran off with a man she met on Facebook has been found and her alleged abductor charged with kidnapping.

Devi Permatasari, 13, a junior high school student from Bandung, West Java, ran off with Taufik Hidayat, 21, who she met on the popular social networking site. He was using the name Reno Tofik.

Her parents, who reported her missing on Oct. 5, appeared on television on Wednesday to plead for their daughters safe return, asking that whoever had taken their daughter return her.

Not long after, Devi was found with Taufik at his parent’s home in Kamarung village, Subang, West Java.

Taufik, a car washer, admitted that he met Devi on Facebook but rejected allegations that he kidnapped her.

“Devi didn’t want to come home so I took her to see places such as Ciater hot springs, Pangandaran beach and to Yogyakarta,” Taufik told reporters at Lengkong Police Station in Bandung.

Devi claimed that felt as though she had been hypnotized.

“I went with Kak Reno [Taufik] because I promised him that I would go out with him but once I got into the car, I don’t remember anything,” Devi said.

Taufik had rented the car from the car wash where he worked.

Devi also said they visited Taufik’s parents’ house where she was introduced as an abandoned child he had rescued and intended to marry.

Devi said she let Taufik sell her gold earrings and cellphone “because he didn’t have money but he promised to replace them.”
