Bawel

Israel, A terrible situation & I condemn ALL violence linked to it However it is a situation that the Pals & other ME nations compound by vicious hate & attacks. Read some history starting with the 1948 invasion. Peace was on the table & the ME allies attacked Israel with its military.. Defeat that resulted in disaster for the Pals

As stated by Bander we only care for Palestine when they can make political gain v the West

More people have been killed by Assad in the last year than in all Israeli conflicts since 1948, More Muslims live & die in Somalian camps each year, More Pakistaini's die from sectarian conflict each year & so on. Where is the outrage in Muslim nations? NOWHERE, but a jew farts and they are mass protest

The point is that there are 2 sides and whenever there has been a chance for peace the Pals have blown it.

I ask you here and now Bawel, what is it drives many Indonesian Muslims to hate and violence? and how do you justify it?

Bawel

When I see people standing over dead bodies chanting god is great then I make the connection it is about religion. How many? Well since this picture of violence is in the news from just about every Islamic nation and every day I can assume its widespread. Add to that the low level violence (Garis/FPI etc) plus the terror networks who in the last decade have carried out over 17000 attacks (mainly on other Muslims) and well there is a picture emerging

Add to the the oppressive and divisive tactics of your friends at the MUI et al ...

Compare that with the majority of Christian religions and the faithful. Are they carrying out attacks? No, not even under severe provocation with only minor exceptions

Israel to follow

Politics.. I think you have a point. Therefore I say stand up and condemn the Muslims who are attacking others here such as the Ahmadiya, GK Bogor Shiites etc - condemn that violence here and now or your words are empty

Israel to follow.......

bawel..

A-ha!....the crazy Muslims?

You serious or maybe a slip of the hand no fault of the mind, but...you don't really have a proper one just yet.

I will take this opportunity to provide you a scriptural verse from Deuteronomy 13: 7-12 NAB as follows:

-----------------------------------

If your own full brother, or your son or daughter, or your beloved wife, or your intimate friend, entices you secretly to serve other gods, who you and your fathers have not known gods of other nations near at hand or far away, from one end of the earth to the other, do not yield to him or listen to him, nor look with pity upon him, to spare or shield him, but KILL him. Your hands should be the first raised to slay him; the rest of the people shall join in with you .You shall stone him to death.

===================================

Yes, it's also mentioned in the Christian Bible.

As a Christian, I will never accede to this. Times have changed bawel. God gave you brains ... think intelligently.

You can run but you can't hide!! It seems that the Muslim world stands behind what they say about blasphemy...

Committing blasphemy also occurs in the Christian world but do you see the sword or the old guillotine being laid out each time someone's thoughts on religious issues go cyber...

This poor fellow should have traveled to Singapore or Thailand for that matter...

Kuala Lumpur. Malaysian police on Friday said they had detained a young Saudi journalist who fled his country after Twitter comments he made about the Prophet Mohammed triggered calls for his execution.

Hamza Kashgari was taken into custody after flying into Malaysia’s main international airport on Thursday, police spokesman Ramli Yoosuf told AFP.

“Kashgari was detained at the airport upon arrival following a request made to us by Interpol after the Saudi authorities applied for it,” he said.

AFP could not immediately confirm where the 23-year-old Kashgari flew in from.

State news agency Bernama said Kashgari was arrested in Muslim-majority Malaysia “for allegedly insulting Islam and the Prophet Mohammed.”

Last week, on the prophet’s birthday, he tweeted: “I have loved things about you and I have hated things about you and there is a lot I don’t understand about you.

“I will not pray for you.”

Malaysia and Saudi Arabia do not have a formal extradition treaty.

However, an official with the Malaysian home ministry who asked to remain unidentified said Kashgari could be extradited under other bilateral security agreements.

The controversial tweet sparked some 30,000 responses, according to an online service that tracks Twitter postings in the Arab world.

Insulting the prophet is considered blasphemous in Islam and is a crime punishable by death in Saudi Arabia.

Kashgari apologized for his remarks but that has not stemmed calls for his head.

A committee of top clerics branded Kashgari “an apostate” and an “infidel,” demanding he be tried in an Islamic court.

Malaysia has warm relations with Saudi Arabia. Saudi King Abdullah Aziz Al-Saud praised Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak as “a Muslim leader” when the premier performed a haj pilgrimage to Mecca in November.
