Devine... However the 99.2% only represents 40% since 60% of our kids don't have birth certs and therefore cannot go to school let alone take exams

On the positive if 85% of the 99.2% cheated that only represents 37% cheat rate ,... A definite feather in the cap of the administration!!

Since 99.2% of our kids passed the high school exam one might well assume that 99% of everybody is in the same league...

@justapasserby

What we, law abiding people needs to worry is that in the Future the Law might be twisted and weirder due certain group of people twisted perception on certain Philosophy...

No Matter where I read the words "Hard-Liners", problems follow... I guess they are nothing but a Troublemaker... Always making problem here and there... And here I thought that Philosophy were meant to improve peoples live... Not Degrade them...

If only those Hard liner would pay more attention to Traffic instead of Porn / Alcohol, maybe they can beat up those people who likes to break traffic Laws, maybe after that a lot of us might have better live experience in the street, where I believe a lot of us spend quite sometimes there... Now that is something I wished would happen... But I guess they wouldn't do that because they might be one of them...

justpasserby,

Jeepers, don't I admire your optimism!

Tell that to the Ahmadhis and the congregation of Yasmin Church in Bogor.

When you've finished doing that, I would like to read your comments once again. How about that?

Justpasserby - I am bemused by your statement. Either you mean 99% or divorce cases will still be ok OR you are suggesting that 99% of marriages are OK?? Both may I say are pure drivel.

Kuala Lumpur. Hardline Islamists ruling a north--eastern Malaysian state were mulling a suggestion to impose whipping and jail terms as penalties for divorcing without valid cause, a newspaper reported Wednesday.

The government of Kelantan was willing to consider "heavier penalties" to reduce the divorce rate of Muslims, the chairwoman of the state's women development, family and health committee Wan Ubaidah Omar was quoted as saying by the Star newspaper.

Common grounds for couples seeking divorce include infidelity and the failure of one partner to satisfy the other. Officials did not explain what would constitute invalid reasons for divorce.

State government officials declined to comment on the announcement when contacted, but reiterated that the government was merely open to different ways of keeping Muslim families from falling apart.

The Kelantan government has in recent years been offering free holidays and counseling for troubled couples, in a move to stop the increasing number of divorced couples.

The state currently the fourth--highest divorce rate among the country's 16 territories.

Kelantan made headlines around Southeast Asia in 2009 after Indonesian model Manohara Odelia Pinot fled her then husband, Kelantan royal prince Muhammad Fakhry, citing domestic violence.
