4984492.8 tons of hash is peanuts! They have mountains of this in Aceh.....the gateway to Mecca!
locker search??
Seems to be a break down in Sharia Law in Aceh, although it's hard to imagine that could be the case. Maybe the police need to wean themselves off their fixation with punks and focus on real crime for a change.
So, for whatever reason the police in Aceh were forced to give up some of their personal stash?

Police in Aceh have seized a massive haul of 2.8 tons of marijuana that they believe was destined for Java via Lampung.
Insp. Gen. Saud Usman Nasution, a National Police spokesman, said the seizure on Wednesday morning in North Aceh district constituted the biggest haul of marijuana in recent years. The drugs were seized on board a truck, wrapped up in 56 packages and concealed beneath a tarpaulin.
Saud said the police arrested the driver of the North Sumatra-registered truck, who claimed the cargo was bound for a businessman in Lampung.
The drugs were believed to have been purchased in Aceh for Rp 350,000 ($39) per kilogram. If sold in Jakarta, they would have fetched up to Rp 3 million a kilogram, the police said. Based on those figures, the 2.8 tons would have been purchased for Rp 980 million and could have sold for Rp 8.4 billion.
