Bogor Farmer’s Wife Escapes Sadistic Killer’s Sickle

Police say they are on the trail of a killer who stabbed a Bogor farmer to death in front of his wife.

Satawi, 60, was tending his small plantation in Bojor village along with Sanah, 55, his wife, on Monday morning when a man wearing a motorcycle helmet approached them.

“Without speaking a word, the man produced a sickle and slashed the victim three times in the throat,” local police officer Comr. Ube Subandi said. After Satawi fell, he was slashed repeatedly in the torso.

Seeing this, Sanah began screaming, according to Ipul, 31, who came running just in time to see the killer chasing Sanah.

“It seems the perpetrator chased the victim’s wife but gave up and ran back the way he had come,” Ube said.

“We know the killer’s identity and have a search underway.”
