I think that it was just great that an Indonesian product actually drew the attention of an IT giant like Yahoo. It just proves that we are not lacking in talent. The only thing is, it should have been the government that was working hard to promote and encourage this talent.

We asked: What do you think of Garuda’s service and standards these days? Did it deserve its recent award?

You replied:

Garuda does not yet deserve the award. Just yesterday (Tuesday) Garuda delayed my 6 a.m. flight to Medan to 10 a.m. for no valid reason, which caused me and other passengers to miss our early morning appointments in Medan. And to think that I bought the ticket only at the last minute on Monday afternoon before the end of working hours. Garuda’s best effort was only to move us to a 7 a.m. Lion Air flight and in doing so, transferring the passengers from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 by Blue Bird taxis.
