Scream queen in new flick. Actress Ratu Felisha can’t seem to get enough of being scared. The star of “Kuntilanak” and “Skandal Cinta Babi Ngepet” (“Love Scandal of the Human-Pig”) appears in a new horror movie, “Kain Kafan Perawan” (“Virgin’s Shroud”).

Felisha said she decided to accept the role despite her fear of the supernatural.

“Actually, I’m afraid of ghosts,” she told KapanLagi.com. “But Nayato [the film’s director] asked me personally to appear in the movie. I think he’s a very good director, and we’re quite close, so I couldn’t say no.”

According to Felisha, there were a number of ghostly happenings on the set during filming. “In one scene, I was running along some old train tracks while carrying leaves from a banana tree and I felt somebody push me and I fell down. But there was no one near me at the time. This happened three times,” she said.

The movie is set for release on Thursday.
