International pop diva Katy Perry may perform in Jakarta during a teen music festival taking place in late May.
According to Berlian Entertainment's official Twitter account, the bubbly singer is one of the main performers set to rock the stage during the Jakarta International Teen Festival on May 28.
Posted earlier today, the tweet said: “Jakarta International Teen Festival 28 May 2011 with the line up: Katy Perry (USA) , Big Bang (Korea), 24herbs (HKG), Brown Eyed Girs (Korea) & 1 more to be announced soon... Stay tuned!”
A staff at the Berlian Entertainment confirmed Perry's appearance but declined to give more details, saying their spokesman will announce it as soon as they return to the office. Berlian was also the group responsible for the Justin Bieber's concert in Sentul, West Java, last weekend.
Perry's official Web site doesn't mention a Jakarta stop yet but showed that she is scheduled to be in Australia and New Zealand between April 28 and May 15.
She's also scheduled for a five-day trip to harajuku-haven Japan from May 22 to 26, visiting Nagoya, Tokyo and Osaka.
