Will Lady Gaga Finally Set Foot in Jakarta?

Lady Gaga has set Indonesian fans abuzz with news her 2012 tour will stop in Indonesia. (Agency photo)

Mark your calendar, little monsters! Word on the street is that pop superstar Lady Gaga will stop by Jakarta for her debut concert in Indonesia in June.

Lady Gaga released a list of the first 11 cities on her Born This Way Ball Tour on her Twitter account. It featured several cities in Asia and Australia. Even though Jakarta was not on the list, undisclosed sources have said she will perform at Gelora Bung Karno on June 3.

Last year, fans were disappointed when Lady Gaga didn't  include Indonesia on her Asian tour. In a YouTube video message, however, she told Indonesian fans that she would be coming soon as part  of the Born This Way Ball Tour. It seems that Gaga is now making  good on her promise.

With more than 23 million albums sold worldwide, the 25-year-old singer  is one of the most successful pop stars in the industry. She is as famous for her music as she is for her flamboyant, sometimes outrageous, sense of fashion and her innovative live shows.

In anticipation of her upcoming world tour, Lady Gaga posted an  illustration on her Twitter account on Tuesday, showing the design of her stage. It features a castle-like building and a runway that leads  right through the audience.

More than that, a few lucky fans might even have the chance to meet their idol in person.

"To give you a bit of insight on the design of my new tour, the central  area within the stage will be known as 'The Monster Pit,' " Lady Gaga said on Twitter. "Every night Haus of Gaga will choose fans from The  Monster Pit to come back stage & meet me!"

Yay!!

But she was here two years ago (not for a "debut concert") but (allegedly, apparently) on holiday in Bali where she had her "debut" surfing lesson. (slow learner, if sources are to be believed)

For reportedly over USD 3million, she will indeed.
