Is the Jakarta Globe saying that one of their photographers was at the tennis match and happened upon this guy who they thought looks like Gayus, or are they saying that they went to the match knowing that Gayus would be there in disguise?

No-matter how similar, I find it hard to believe that anybody would spot the likeness in a crowd.

So what exactly is the story JG?

Even stupid people can tell that it's the same person.

And these lawyers are as ridiculous as the judicial system.

Tennis? Football? Golf? Who cares. Just answer the darn question! Did he or did he not leave his cell to go to Bali???

I have taken measurements from both pics and see same distance of seperation, including the ears have the same angled indent. Nose and eye brow are the same too....

Saying his likes football does not answer the question at all...Spin factor? More Spin on that question ? "Hey man your spinning "

Jakarta. Rogue tax official Gayus Tambunan said he did not like tennis in response to reporters' questions about whether he attended a tennis tournament in Bali last week, stopping short of an outright denial of his attendance.

Reporters at the South Jakarta District Court asked Gayus the question as he arrived at the South Jakarta District Court to attend a hearing.

"I like golf, not tennis," Gayus was quoted as saying by news portal Detik.com.

He refused to answer anymore questions and entered the court room.

Meanwhile, his lawyer Adnan Buyung Nasution said he did not know if his client could leave his cell at the Mobile Brigade (Brimob) headquarters in Depok, West Java.

Adnan said the guards at the detention facility were responsible for the perks afforded to Gayus.

“I only heard of this a moment ago,” Adnan told Metro TV before attending Gayus' court hearing at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday.

On Friday, a man bearing an uncanny resemblance to Gayus was photographed by the Jakarta Globe while watching matches at the Commonwealth Bank Tournament of Champions in Nusa Dua, Bali.

The photo of the tennis fan sitting among other spectators sparked speculation about whether the notorious Gayus had indeed found a way to enjoy a break away from his cell.

“It is very unlikely that the man in the photo was Gayus. His hobby is football, not tennis,” said his lawyer, Sadli Hasibuan on Sunday.

In March, media reports described details of Gayus’s home in the Gading Park View residential complex in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.

It boasts a swimming pool, a tennis court, a basketball court, a gazebo and a jogging track.

There was no mention of a football field, however, in any of those media reports.
