Bandung. Three teenagers from Bandung died on Thursday and Friday after consuming a mixed beverage containing alcohol, a supplement drink and cold medicine.
Six teenagers tried to get drunk on Wednesday night. No nearby stores provided alcoholic drinks, so the teenagers tried to make something themselves and then drank it in the middle of paddy field.
The first victim was Yani Nuroktavia, 14-years-old, who died some hours after the party, on Thursday morning. Julian Leo, 17-years-old, died on Thursday afternoon. The latest victim, Deni Firmansyah, 17-years-old, died on Friday morning.
“All of them are teenagers,” a police officer who handled the case said. “They mixed a beverage containing 70 percent alcohol, a supplement drink and some cold medicine.”
Police are still questioning some witnesses and the survivors.
