Marines on Indonesia's Doorstep No Cause for Alarm: US

Reassuring Indonesia of its intention to play a role in enhancing peace and prosperity in the region, the United States has announced it will start a deployment of 200 to 250 Marines to military base in Northern Australia by the middle of the year. That number is set to eventually grow to 2,500.
