“I left my previous job working for Shell so that I could be fully committed to the business we’re running,” says Fathia Syarif, co-founder of BagelBagel. Together with three of her best friends, Fathia decided to introduce the chewy baked good, popular throughout America but especially New York City, to Indonesia’s capital. Their bet on bagels turned out to be a winner, as demand for their products has risen faster than they ever expected.
