Agent/NRN - It seems quite bizzare but true that almost all (if not all) ultra religious regions/cities whatever produce an incredibly high incidence of abuse one way or another

My own view is that once you make peoples life so restricted (by god or rules) then breaking rules becomes common place - so much that not breaking them is very difficult - this leads to a spiral of doing bad stuff and not being caught leading to more and more. Add into that mix the excitment of tabbo mixed with the dredgery of survitute and there you go

Utah, Aceh, Most of the Middle East, Japan, China to name a few

As NRN says a place full of religious taboos that incidently allow for abuse (child/women/other religions) seems common - perhaps god really does not like women or kids???

Additional info for JG readers not following this: The federal govt is hunting them down like dogs in different states. The leader/prophet had to use fake ID & wigs. This happen inside secluded compounds where outside influence is prohibited, and the girls have never been outside the colony.

agentmacgyver: Yeap utah is one of the most religious & most conservative. Same thing, no sexy short skirts allowed BUT "in order to go to heaven" underage girls must copulate & have many kids with elderly males.

Just FYI for JG readers: the state of Utah is one of the most conservative in the US, and also has the highest rate of consumption of adult entertainment.

Reminds me of when my friend complained that her computer was unusable due to viruses because her FPI member older brother had filled it with you know what.

Tremonton, Utah. Police are not filing charges against a father who briefly played a pornographic video instead of The Smurfs at his child’s birthday party.

Tremonton Police Chief Dave Nance tells the Standard-Examiner of Ogden the man had rented a copy of The Smurfs from a kiosk and loaded the disc into his laptop. But when he turned the projector on for the children, pornographic images flashed on the screen.

Authorities got involved when the father complained somebody had tampered with the DVD. Police found nothing wrong, saying the porn was probably on the laptop.

Nance says officials aren’t pursuing charges because the incident was apparently an accident. The Smurfs was released in 2011 and features animated blue creatures that are chased into New York City by an evil wizard.
